ASES RATING:
Expand your flying experience by earning your Airplane Single-Engine Sea (ASES) rating. Our immersive three-day training program is designed to prepare pilots for the unique skills and techniques required to safely operate seaplanes.
Your training includes a comprehensive course manual, classroom-based ground instruction, and approximately 5–6 hours** of one-on-one flight training with an experienced seaplane instructor. Throughout the course, you'll gain the knowledge, hands-on experience, and confidence needed to successfully complete your rating while discovering the excitement and versatility of seaplane flying.
Course Duration: Please allow up to three days to complete the program.

After a brief pre-flight overview, you'll join one of our experienced instructors for an unforgettable flight over the beautiful waterways of the Carolinas. You'll learn the basics of seaplane operations, experience takeoffs and landings on the water, and—if conditions allow—even have the opportunity to take the controls under your instructor's guidance.
